4D Baby Scan Audit Report & Customer Comments

June-September 2007

Introduction

This year has been one of growth and successful delivery of our 3D and 4D scanning services to our esteemed clients. We have continued to service the West Midlands area, North and West London, taking patients from far reaches such as Cardiff and Southampton, Swindon and Essex.

We are pleased to publish audit results of our services as judged by our customers through the regular Customer Satisfaction forms, which are reviewed regularly and actions are taken as required.
Necessarily, a random sample of client feedback is analysed and published here.

Results

Results from commencement of monitoring June to September 2007, inclusive show that 97.4% of patients are delighted with our service, awarding Bumps Care (One Stop Clinics) with the highest ranking of 10 points. Other scores were 6, 7 and 9.

We thank our clients for their kind words and it encourages us to continue the efforts and hard work.

Other comments about our 4D baby scan services include the following suggestions.

• Open a clinic nearer Swansea please!
• Clearer directions needed to clinic location
• Would have liked more information about the other services
• Aircon needed

In answer to these helpful comments we have added more detailed direction instructions on the website especially to our Horsley Bumps clinic, we have new information leaflets and aicon will be made available and we are considering helping those out there in Wales.

We had 4 complaints out of 415 4D scan clients, alluding to a 96% success rate. Patients had not being satisfied with images and had therefore been disappointed. We performed 3 rescans, offered 2 refunds for an apparent technical glitch and unwanted disclosure.

As we say in all 3D and 4D baby scan literature we make every effort to obtain the best images possible, however no one can ever guarantee the position of the baby in uterus. We apologise to those who have been disappointed and hope that all our parents go on to have a wonderful full term and parenthood.

4D Baby scans are hugely popular and we love offering this service. Evidence shows that pregnant women and families enjoy the 4D scan experience.

Our 3D and 4D scanning services continue to be hugely appreciated by families and are rewarding for both staff and families.
