All women who had 4d baby scan at our centres are invited to enter our Christmas competition. On offer is a Christmas hamper of Baby goodies worth £100.00.                                                                                                                                                                              

All we are seeking are your comments on your 4D scan experience at any of our centres. Just a couple of paragraphs describing in your own words your experience.

The winner will be announced on December 15^th 2006; early enough to deliver the package to her. Alternatively, the winner may choose to have M&S vouchers.

The runners up will receive £50.00 prize and the third will receive a £25.00 prize or M&S vouchers.

At bumps4d we organise various events for our 3d scan and 4d baby scan clients. This is in our effort to meet you and keep in touch with you afterwards. You will see us at shows and we will invite you to take part in all sorts of interesting competitions.

Baby Shows: Birmingham NEC May 2006

Anybody who went to the just-concluded Baby-Show at the NEC in Birmingham will agree that it was an unqualified success. Thousands of people streamed through the doors of the show throughout the three days (19-21 May) to see the goods and services displayed and offered by the hundreds of exhibitors there.

The ‘Bumps’ stand was very popular with hundreds of people visiting each day to see, get information and for some, experience their first ever 4D baby ultrasound scan (3D scan with dynamic movements). Of-course there was a lot of disappointment for the dozens who wanted to have their 4D baby scans performed at the show and whom, unfortunately, we could not accommodate. All the appointments had been snapped-up online well in advance of the show so quite a few had to be turned away. However, the disappointment for most was tempered by the knowledge that they could book and get their scans done at a later and probably more appropriate date. It was important to stress the information that, whilst technically it is possible to perform a scan at any stage of the pregnancy, to get the amazing views one sees on the television and on the net, the 4D baby scan needs to be timed right. That is why we were advising those inquiring to book their scan between 24 and 32 weeks. That really makes the experience profound and the mementos, be it still 3D scan pictures or moving images on the DVD (4D), such a lasting and priceless treasure.

There was also the Caption Competition that Bumps ran during the show. There were dozens of entries and a lot of them were quite good and original. However, like all competitions, there had to be only one winner. This was Erica Hardwick with a caption:"not just a bump but reality TV"

She won herself a Gold package worth £195. This comprehensive package consists of:
• A 4D baby scanning session to last up to 30 minutes.
• Six large and medium sized 3D baby scan colour pictures
• A6 sized announcement cards
• Black and white thermal scan prints
• A CD-ROM containing a selection of prints, ready for viewing, printing or emailing
• A DVD containing the 4D ultrasound movie
• ‘Complete Pregnancy & Childbirth Answers’, a 500+ page book with over 1500 questions answered.

Many more people were able to get their appointments booked and enjoyed a promotional 10% discount from their chosen packages. They were also able to get their copies of the excellent ‘Complete Pregnancy & Childbirth Answers’ book signed by the author. Many who had come from further afield were delighted to learn that they don’t have to travel to the Warley, West Midlands to have their 4D baby scans as Bumps is now running clinics at three other venues in St. Albans; East Horsley, Surrey and Steventon, Oxfordshire.

We would like to announce our "Caption Competition" winners and runners-up that took place at the "Baby Shows" Birmingham NEC on May 19th till the 21st.
