We are delighted to announce the introduction of pregnancy massage to our range of services to be provided by Cherie Weyer.

The pregnancy massage specialist, Cherie Weyer qualified in Aromatherapy and Therapeutic Massage in South Africa in 1995 and worked in a leading Holistic Health Centre, St Francis Health Centre before moving to the United Kingdom.

She has volunteered as an Aromatherapist for a Birmingham charity, Freshwinds, before falling pregnant with her first child. Whilst pregnant, Cherie longed to have a professional massage treatment, but unfortunately could not find any Pregnancy Massage specialists in the Birmingham area.

After having her baby, Cherie then specialised in Pregnancy Massage herself at St Mary’s College in London. She has since had her second baby, and is now focussing on her Pregnancy Massage treatments.

Having been pregnant twice herself, Cherie understands the discomforts that pregnancy can cause, and she can relate to the mums-to-be. Cherie is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of treatment for you and your baby and has years of experience in therapeutic massage. Cherie is also a member of the Complementary Therapists Association.

As a mum, I know the discomfort that pregnancy can cause and the physical, mental and emotional roller coaster ride which we all go through. It is most important to take the best care of yourself during this special time – and enjoy the experience as much as possible.

The Pregnancy Massage treatment is tailored to meet the needs of the mums to be and focuses on providing relaxation and relief from the common complaints that most moms experience. For your maximum benefit, Cherie offers a full body massage treatment which provides one and a half hours of sheer pampering and relaxation after your scheduled 3d scan, fetal well being and growth scan or after childbirth.

The massage treatment is mainly carried out in a side-lying position with plenty of pillows for support. The massage addresses your scalp and face, neck and shoulders, arms and hands, your back and hips as well as your legs and feet.

Special care is taken during the massage to ensure you are happy throughout the treatment and that you and your baby are kept safe, comfortable and relaxed.
